What I meant by "Smokin the Fuzz", Is "Running the cops".

My better half pointed out that the fprmer Phrase could be interpreted in a different way that is not suitable for a public forum. My apologies if I affended anyone.

One time, at band camp...

Just kidding.

My brother Rex was doing the Peak to Peak Highway (part of what we affectionately call the Zulu Loop) from Estes Park to Nederland in Colorado, when he passed a trooper giving a ticket to a fellow in little convertible (MG or such). Since, the trooper was engaged, Rex didn't bother to slow down and continued doing the loop, which I take about 70 on average, but he's faster than I.

About 5 minutes after he stopped for coffee at the end of the highway there in Nederland, the trooper came zooming down to the stop sign that ends the road and turns into Boulder Canyon, gave Rex the fisheye, then drove off.

A bit later as Rex was riding (at a more leisurely pace) down Boulder Canyon, the MG caught up to him and yelled that when Rex had passed them by, the trooper just threw the ticket at the MG driver and ran back to his cruiser to take off after Rex.

I guess that'd be Unintentional Smokin.

"I'm sorry officer, I believe you're mistaken." A sticker on a rider's helmet from Motorcyclist Magazine (Nick Ienasch's maybe?)
