The new ride...

Well, I just picked up the new '00 748 from the dealer today. It just came out of the crate and had one mile on it. Other than the fact that it was REALLY cold out, the bike is awesome. Looking forward to the upcoming (at least I hope so) good weather.

I will try to get some pics up soon, if anyone is interested.

I'll never get over Macho Grande

Congrats on the new bike and sure, post some pics.

What kind of deal did you get???

Repeal helmet laws, they only protect people we most likely don't need in the gene pool any way!

I bought the bike at cleveland-akron honda (they also carry Guzzi, Ducati, Yamaha, KTM). The bike was $10500 in the crate with 1 mile on it. Looking at the classifides, used ones of the same year are about $9000 with 15-20k miles on them. I also took part in Ducati's 2 years of free maintenance and have the 2 year waranty.

Sweet, how long before you get down to West Virginia? When I bought my YZF, it was gonna be a bike from detroit (long story, ended up gettin one in chicago then riding home to Dallas). Anyway, didn't get to do that apalacian ride but WV looked like it was gonna be GOOD. Not too far?

I'm sure it won't be too long, unless this freakin' weather keeps being crappy.
