Street Fighter 1st bike?

Hello all, quick question for about a 1st bike. I found a 1993 cbr 600 f2 for $1600. I was wondering if there are any cons to a street fighter bike especially for a new street rider. The add-ons are listed below from the online add. Thanks.

CRG BAREND MIRRORS, CUSTOM SHORTY PIPE
FLUSH MOUNT BLINKERS, SIDE MOUNT PLATE
FRAME SLIDERS, SINGLE CARBON FIBER HEADLIGHT

Looks like a good choice!
There aren't many shortcomings to streetfighters. The wind is abit more of a bother, but only at highway speeds, and even then, its not too big of a deal.
The part that would concern me would be how good of a shape it is in. At that price, it could be close to serious mechanical failure.

Thanks for the reply, I figure it would be easier to post the link to the craigslist add.

F2's are both great starter bikes and plain fun to ride
