500 c ninja

I was wondering what a 500c ninja is worth. Im looking to buy a used one with 4k miles. He asked for 4k for it and was wondering what a good price is.

The MSRP for that bike according to NADA was $5K. Personally, I'd shoot more for $3K-$3.5, but I'm cheap.

I paid $3,750 for my '06 which had 213 miles on it and it had been laid down at a slow speed (a good bit of cosmetic damage on it too). They were asking $4,200 but I pointed out the bike faults until they came down. That wasn't the 'out the door' price though, it went up.
