bike lock placement

Okay I have had my R6 since december and never used the lock I got with it, mainly because I'm not sure how it goes on. I have a big pad lock style with the coil cable that I've been told goes up to the bars to remind you the wheels locked. Do I put it through the wheel, the front rotor, the caliper or what? Photos would rock!!!

Like that? Dont forget the reminder cable. If you take off with the lock still on the wheel, you will crash.

Yeah, the little pin that locks the bike goes through one of the holes in the rotor.
