Motorcycles Pollute more than SUVs.....

According to Mrs. Carpenter from Wired Magazine.

Thought you guys would like to read some sensationalist article against motorcycles, get your engines revved up and then blast away in the comments section.

Curious what's your view on it? Her points indeed are valid for all bikes that don't have a catalytic converter. But comparatively the SUV is more wasteful and polluting IMO. Pollution isn't only measured in harmful gas % numbers but also in amount of exhaust gas emitted for a given task, to take one person to work IMO the SUV will always be more polluting unless they make the engine emit pure clean steam. Even then it'll still be wasteful if it eats up gas like the hog that it is.

There was also a study that said a Hummer H2 is more economically friendly than a Prius when you take into account the "carbon footprint" from manufacturing, as well as the emissions from its total expected lifetime.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't really give much thought to that stuff. I'm sure there's a hippie in California planting trees right now, so he'll undo my damage.
