Not sure about the conditions of the roads down there but I've done 1,800 miles in 24 hours before so I don't see why they think he'd have to be in the car for 6 days non-stop to go 1,988.

Snake ! you were speeding...what kind of example is that for the youth of America ? This will probably cause all your baby snakes to be born naked

I was the youth at the time (or close enough to it). Besides, that averages to 75, and that was the speed limit in most of the states west off the mississippi, which was more than half of my journey.

60mph average, 1440 miles in 24 hours.

75 mph average, 1800 miles in 24 hours.
