Bike vs Car Nordshleife

I've got hundreds of virtual laps on this course, but it's gotta be plain scary to do the real thing.

as with a lot of the comment posted the rider is not staying in the powerband. if he had ridden like it was a race the car would be out of the picture. and the car was riding 2 up.....thats slightly embarassing.

I'm no bike racer but shouldn't the rpm's stay closer to the redline, like around 11k or 12k? Is he scared the bike is going to break or something? Anyway, it was exciting to see though.

it also looked like there were a few times where the bike should have overtaken the car, however, he didn't pass. there were a few straights where the bike simply got off the gas, way too long before braking. also, he didn't seem to be pushing the bike as hard as it could have. im sure the rider wasnt paying as much attention to the powerband or even thinking about it because of the other cars though.

that made dropping acid seem like a mild cure for boredom

or maybe the guy just wanted to have the thing on camera showing all of us that know bikes that he could have blown the guy away on many occasions, but wanted to make sure he got the video. Who knows if the car had a camera or not.
