Unhappy Layed her down...

Last night I was at a friend's house. We were all having a good time...relaxing...nothing big. More people decided to show up. I was in the back yard joking around with my friend and all of a sudden this guy gets in our faces and starts yelling at us and becoming increasingly aggressive. I try to calm the kid down but that was useless. I decide to go back inside and avoid the problem. I go outside to check on my bike (which is in the driveway) and this guy and his friend come out and try to fight me...i didn't want trouble so I backed down. He said he was going to follow me out of the neighborhood and open his car door on me and wreck me and try to kill me. I decide it would be best to stay at the place I was and avoid more problems. The guy who owns the house said everyone had to leave...shit. I start driving and out of nowhere this kid and his friend pull up behind me extrememly close. I speed up and try to avoid the guys. I was coming up to a turn and noticed that he was either going to hit me if I slowed down or I was going to have to lay my bike down after heavily braking. I decided to try to make the turn and he almost hits me and I lay it down in the outside of the turn. Dust flies everywhere. Gravel gouges into my side. My ankle starts throbbing. I pick up my bike. My three friends who were following me (and were passed by this guy in his car doing 100+) stop and run over. I drop to my knees and feel realllly dizzy. I get back up and start the bike and ride to a friend's house. My helmet is fine, my riding jacket is just a bit dirty.

My bike...is torn up bad. Multiple cracks in the lower, mid, and upper fairing. The housing around my right headlight is cracked. My rear brake pedal is bent, the plastics on the tail are scratched. The engine housing is scratched. She still runs fine. I'm so upset.

I just had a deputy meet me at my house and made a police report.

We'll see where this goes.

I think my ankle is shattered.

That is insane.

Can you say "felony menacing" and "assault with a motor vehicle"?

Glad you are ok. Hope they get these guys.

i'm sorry to hear this. there are assholes everywhere.

you did the right thing by calling the police and filing a report. were there any witnesses to the threat made in the driveway? anyone see him on your ass going into the corner?

him running you off the road after threatening you is attempted manslaughter. also guilty of leaving the scene of an accident.

hope your ankle isn't too jacked up. heal quickly bro.

yes there is a witness of him threatening me in the driveway. there are 5 people who watched as i layed my bike down, and countless people who saw him harass me at the house.

the sheriff said i need to gather numbers of all the witnesses and the names of the guys who did this to me.

i can't believe it. did i make the right decision by laying it down rather than him rear-ending me at 60mph?

i'm worried that i won't be able to ride for the rest of the season. my bike is gonna take a pretty penny to fix so i hope i can get a lawyer involved and maybe seek damages over what was inflicted.

i'm still in shock.

good thing my mom is a registered nurse with plenty of norco hydrocodone.

You need to bring a "legal jihad" down on these guys. Do as the officer says- get all the witnesses you can, furnish the police with all the names, information, and whatever else they want. You might also want to notify your insurance company and furnish them with a copy of the report. When obtaining statements from witnesses, I would have them complete signed, legal affidavits.

I would also look into seeking legal counsel and sue these idiots for everything you can get. Make their lives a living hell!

I plan on doing just that. I plan on draining them dry of all funds and assets they have.

Any idea of who I should talk to for legal advice...any motorcycle specialists?

I just can't believe someone would be so effed up in the head as to endanger my life. I could have ended up hitting the sharp gravel which lines either side of the railroad tracks. I could have been part of the telephone pole which was about 3 feet from where I landed. I could be dead.

The sheriff said, himself, that these guys must have something wrong in their heads to do this.

My anger and rage are peaking right now.

I'm playing fight night3 on ps2 and it feels good.
