Tinted screen for the track.

So I've been getting into the track day thing and I really need a tinted sheid for my helmet. The problem is i'm not sure weather to get light or dark smoke color. The local tracks here have some part of the track in shade because of trees nearby so i'm worried if i get dark I wont be able to see well in those areas. If I get light i'm worried that it'll be too light.

Dark smoke is just like dark sunglasses.

ITs not like your blindfolded. And light smoke wont do much of anything really.

If your worried, get a light pair and a dark pair of cheap sunglasses and wear em under your lid. If your cool with the darks, then get a dark shield.

Personally I would never race with glasses on under my helmet. In a crash they can damage you pretty bad. Now of course this can happen during normal riding too but we tend to push a little harder at the track. At least I do.

I actually would recommend a light shade and a dark shade so you have options. I typically go with the lightest I can get by with.

Cap forward... dark shade

Cap backwards... light shade
