Need QUICK Advie - 2002 Blackbird

Always wanted one of these, found the one, going to test ride and pick up tomorrow. It's a 2002 with 13K. The owner says the only thing wrong with it is a hairline crack in one of the mirror housings. He says it's about a $75 replacement but it's hard to see it and it doesn't affect function so he hasn't worried about it. I've done some research and I've ridden a good amount of bikes but your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Anything specifically I should be looking for on this bike? Engine Noises, Transmission issues, areas to look for cracks? He swears it's perfectly maintained and from talking to him I believe him. That's why I need some objective folks with experience with this product. I have less than 12 hours before I head out to pick it up.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

13,000 miles it's probably just now broken in. As long as it's had 2-4 oil changes you're probably good to go. May need tires, coolant change etc. Good luck!

those are bitchin machines. If you get it for 6k or less. grab it. If not, they are hard to find so if you like it, up to you.

At only 13k, I'd say just normal maintence like tire wear, tire pressure, chain position, chain lube, check idle position, replace break fluids, top off radiator fluid and what not. Your suppose to do this every season though... if not more.
