What kind of American-made bike could you buy that would work as a competitive race-bike? There isn't any.

Good point though- There are a lot of Japanese bikes which fit the definition of being American made. My ZX-11 was made in Nebraska.

HD's are incredibly innovative. What other bike make do you know of that can disassemble itself, without tools, and has a lubricating system so advanced it even oils the pavement of which it rides??????
