Pshh, 1000s are slow! And you'll be lucky if you can keep up with freeway traffic on the 750. C'mon man, you're dealing with cars with 2+ liter engines, and you have no chance with something half the engine size. Now if you get the ZX14, extend the swing arm, lower it, add at least two bottles of NOS, add some tribal or flame stickers (improves aerodynamics), and change the powerband to a colored one (red gives good results), then you might have a formidable bike, given a good downward grade and strong tailwind.

if you've never ridden a bike before and you want a 1000cc motorcycle based on how fast it goes, I can tell you this. When you wreck after 2 weeks of ownership, someone like me will buy your wrecked bike and fix it up, while your still in ICU.

Do us a favor and start small and slow. 600cc and below. Hell, start on a 250cc ninja and start learning how to take curves. I've seen a 250cc rider out lean a 600cc guy in a curve. And remember, gear is important.

well i try to give people the benifet of the doubt and hope he wasnt so fucking stupid as to pick a bike because of how fast they could go. obviously a busa or a zx14 would have been the choice. maybe he just has a inquisitive mind.... lol

but if it is your first bike start on a 600 for sure
