Thumbs up Posting in manufacturer specific areas

If you have a question about some general motorcycle topic such as, what kind of luck are you having with Brand A riding widgets, don't post it in the Kawasaki forum just because you are using your go fast widget on your new ZX6RR. If the topic is general and doesn't actually pertain to the specific bike then post it in this General Area or another appropriate one.

A question on what type of Bridgestone tire works best for mountain touring doesn't necessarily need to be in the Suzuki Forum because you are touring on a Katana 750.

The info may be useful for others that may never really check the specific forums since they don't ride that brand of bike. I think most check them all but some don't.

Just a suggestion to help out.

Somewhat off-topic, but I just use the "new posts" button. I never search through specific areas.

I take your point, though.

In God, we trust; all others must provide data.

VERY well put RC. Some will not necessarily go to Brand X when they have Brand Z YET is could be a Thead on a good question that wll would benifit from the subject.

We do have a number of newbies & tend to forget said new members will not know where best to place said question of tip.
