Whats sucks more than dropping your new bike

My new ZX-10 I have had for 3 weeks. I have been dreading that first slip and scratch. Today it happened 06-06-06.
Here is what sucks more than anything. I did not do it. My bike parked at work in what I thought was a good spot. I come out and there it was laying on its side, with a chunk of someones tail light right next to it.
Other than some magic dust that shrinks it to put it in your pocket what to you guys do to try and prevent this.

Surely, if it happened at work, you'll be able to track down the f*cking a**ehole who did it?

Feel bad for you.

Park on the sidewalk up near the entrance to where ever you are going. I either do that or pull up onto a median in the parking lot, that way you don't have to worry about cars and the morons that are driving them. But the fact that you didn't do it should be some comfort, atleast you can blame someone else for damaging your bike instead of being pissed at yourself To bad you didn't get to hurt it having fun on it

Unfortunately it is part of m/c life. My bikes have been hit a number of times when legally parked. Not much you can do about it unless you catch them red-handed, they are in the wrong & do have insurance.

That kind of shit drives me crazy. There's no damn way the person who did that to your bike didn't know they did it. Total bastard thing to do without leaving contact info to fix the damage.

Do what Sepias said if you can. Park on a sidewalk, or hard to hit area. Some places have large steel poles that block off no parking areas - really they're menat for cages, not bikes

If you plan on parking somewhere you proby shouldn't see if you can get the security gaurd or meter maid on your side.

I swear people are such bastards sometimes. Sorry that happened to you.
