If you don't have any credit history, most dealerships won't give you a finance option, even if you have cash to put down. You would need a co-signer for that. The best way for a new rider would be to save up more money and buy yourself a starter bike such as a 90's 600 bike or start small with a 250-500cc bike.
Also, when you finance, you will have to get full coverage for the motorcycle, which is pretty much anal rapage. Expecially since your 18, no credit history, and your a big liability.
If your parents love you, they could be a co-signer for you, but if you want to save lots of money, and still want to ride a motorcycle, its better to have cash in hand and grab a starter bike. When you drop your bike, your wallet won't hurt as much either.
Also, you have to realize, gear costs money too, so make sure you have atleast 500 bucks on the side for atleast a helmet, gloves and jacket. Don't cheap out on those stuff.
