new olympus commercials....

anybody seen these? i saw 2 so far, can't remember the first but the second was of a pair of paramedics at the scene of a bike accident, rider laying there with the bike in the backround, the paramedics steal the camara thats hanging from the riders neck...now i don't care that they stole the camera, its that they are using a M/C accident in the plot....kinda wrong in my opinion.

Hi All-

Sounds kind of silly...what decent sportbike rider would have something like a camera swinging around his or her neck while they're riding, anyway? That's the media for you...

Probably why the rider crashed in the first place. Sounds like a mentos or tag body spray commercial, bunch of nonsense.

Has anyone else noticed the intelligence level of commercials and TV shows falling through the floor in the past few years? Every year I keep thinking it can't get any worse... but I'm always wrong.

Yup, like the use of King Kong movie for the VW SUV and bunch of other crap, like pizzas, they're also using Mission Impossible 3 for DHL?? What the hell? And in the ad, they don't even mention the relation, just the trailer followed by the sponsor. I missed the days when Hunchback of Notredame animated movie had some relevance to Burger King as far collecting finger puppet goes.

At least in Europe, they have racy and sexy commercials that make sense and allowed to air on public TV.

We're to stuck up here in the US to have the interesting commercials that other countries get... I'm surprised were allowed to show ankle on TV here. They have all nude game shows in Japan and no one complains, in fact their fairly popular. We need mind-numbingly interesting stuff like that on TV here.

I like the one where Honda Element talks to animals, especially the crab with accent at the beach. "Can I pinch?" "I like to pinch!"

I saw one of the olympus ad, it's the one where mother lies to ther daughter about having the camera I think.

i really like the vw commercial. i hope ppl get shook up by that, anyone thats been in an accident will tell you it happens so quick. if they get shook up by it, maybe they'll remember to keep a watch out on the road FOR ONCE (hey, i live in fl).
on top of that, its great marketing for VW. they're selling what they have, the number one rating on side impact.

that made dropping acid seem like a mild cure for boredom

'95 F3 Smokin Joe - tried to kill me, so i returned the favor and parted it out

'03 "Titanium" CBR 954 - frame sliders, reupholstered seats, cut and gutted stock exhaust, -1/+2 520 conversion, BMC race filter

I agree, the VW commercials are good, there better than their V-dub line of commercials. Those are about as retarted as the cars they smash...
