An israeli company had a simular idea. Instead of a cord they mounted sensors on the bike that communicated wirelessly with the jacket.

I've seen that one commerical where they try to sell the idea that the world changes every 4 hours, shouldn't you? In one of their cut seens of random and odd inventions, a worker fall off a billboard. A ballon system inflated just like mars' rover landings and the worker was safe.

Also, if you remember Demolition man, their cars had a syrofoam cusion system. I that it was neat.

I think it's a great idea, maybe not this particular product, but who knows if they can perfect the technology it could save lives in the future. Im all for it! Plenty of great inventions/innovations come from completely stupid looking ideas, but refine them enough....

a little more...future technology
a little more...man
a little more...god
a little more...kawasaki
