Top Speed Formula

I swear I saw a formula on here last night that gave the formula to use when figuring out differences in top speed when changing sprockets. I tried running half a dozen searches and only came across one, but it was not what I remember seeing. Does anyone know what the correct formula is?

Thanks

Here's the formula I use:

Change sprockets + long stretch of highway + wide open throttle = top speed

I like that idea, but I'd rather know the results beforehand. Thanks though.

Not the one I was looking for, but got the answer anyways. If anyone wants to check it out, it's easy (requires spreadsheet) http://www.winsite.com/bin/Info?24000000036851
