Most of you know Ive been working on my engine. My quick simple question is should I replace all the gaskets while the engine is in a bunch of pieces, or should I only worry about replacing the gaskets that sustained visable damage during the disassembly process?
If you are that far into your engine, I don't think you should half ass the repair. I've been there done that with my Dads truck. I told him to replace the slave cylinder while I had the Tranny out. He tried to be cheap and not replace it. A year later, I had the tranny out of the truck again to replace it.
