Group rides are nothing more than show. I don't like to ride with more than 1 or 2 other trusted people.

A few ccs short of a full litre.

Jesus!! Talk about not travelling safely! See how many people locked up their brakes trying to stop in time???

There is a massive group ride held in honour of Barry Sheene that rides to the Aussie Moto GP. This year they had over 800 bikes!!! Now THAT's a group ride!

Can well imagine that Barry Sheene would be rolling over in his grave with laughter. You must remember he liked good jokes, pulling one's leg, & did not ride the streets or h/wys---a racer only.

Something like that being organized would seem foolish to him only funny when he saw the out come of such a stupid mass ride.

The ride shown here isn't the Barry Sheene ride I was referring to.

Hi All-

Nothing good ever occurs from riding with an extremely large group, especially when everyone doesn't know each other well. My preferred policy is to limit the group to four motorcycles to ease communications and to prevent mishaps.
