For a week, in my paddock and then on a back, back, back country road.

Man...I never had a license the whole time I owned my first bike. Just dont do it. If you do get pulled over you will be in serious trouble.

Besides, not riding until you have one will be serious incentive to go get it.

Good Luck!

You are giving me mixed signals, you say you never had one but for me to go get one and not to ride?

It's that whole, "Don't make the same mistakes as me" argument.

Never had one with my first bike. I have one now. My friend was pulled over without one and he had a huge fine, court, community service, insurance issues, you name it.

I was lucky. Get your learners, find a friend with a bike, and get your license as soon as you can.
