I need explenations from experienced riders

Today was the second time I ride my bike. I practice around the subdevision I live in. While I was practicing a tight U turn, I laid down my bike, because while I was turning, the bike stalled.
After that, I could trun the bike on. I tried many times, and I thought I had a dead battery. Also, I could not change the gear to the first.
After 15 minutes of trying, the heat started to geting into me. It was around 90 degrees. I took my gears off, and I felt like I was going to drop dead. I left my bike next to the curb, and I walk home to leave the gears there. When I get home, I was dizzy, my heart beating was too fast. I drank a lot of water, and it took about 20 minutes before I could feel normal.
Then, I went back to my bike, I was thinking to push for 2 blocks. The bike started right the way, and then I ride it home with no helmet, gloves or jacket.

My first question, why the bike refused to start in the begining, then started fine?
second question, why a hell has happend to me for the heat? and how i prevented from happening again?
third question, how can I make thight u turn? what gear I should be in?

My guess was that the engine may have gotten flooded when you dropped it and it took a few minutes for the fumes to evaporate. This was a common problem my first day riding , I kept flooding it.

The heat, I dunno about the heat, but I cant be in the sun for more than 5 minutes with my helmet on without moving. Probably because you loose a lot of heat through your head and helmet doesnt give it much place to go.

At 460 pounds my bike can be tricky to corner, but when I practice figure 8s I usually gear down to 1st, using the brake when I need to, probably no more than 5 or 10 mph swing all the way to the other side of the road and just slowly arc around in a circle like motion. When moving so slowly you will have to balance how much you lean into a corner and how much you turn the handle bars. I tend to turn the bars a lot at such low speed and lean less, there isnt much force holding you upright at that speed.

Most of the modern bikes have a system if the bike is leaned over to much or actually dropped the engine will automatically shut off.

Turn the ignition OFF. Get the bike upright & then turn on the ignition, hit the starter button & good chance it will start with a bit of staggering. If it does NOT start then check to see if you accidently put the Kill Button to the OFF position. Which can happen so easily.

As for stalling the bike it is pretty well bound to go down. Go back to your thinking of what you learned in the MSF Course & the answer will be there.

You can have this stalling even when making almost dead still turns like at stop signs, especially right turns, & taking off, or you have had to wait for traffic to clear for your left turn.

It is all of what it is like to ride a m/c for it must be balanced while a cage with four wheels does NOT run into such problems.
