So I was on my way to work, cruisin' down the highway on my 7R, when this dumbass on a Gixxer 750 pulls up right next to me. I don't know what the dude was trying to prove, but he kept speeding up in front of me, then slowing down to get behind me. Then he would speed up again, then slow down again. He just kept doing it.

After about 5 minutes of this, I reached my exit. I pulled over into the turning lane and slowed down to about 40 when I entered the turn. About a 1/4 of the way through, the guy on the Gixxer pulls up to the outside of me (he was only like a foot away) and waves. At this point I was so pissed, I just dropped a couple gears and gunned it up to like 80. So, the guy on the Gixxer tried to do the same, but he couldn't hold it. He slowed veered off to the outside.....and then he suuddenly hit the grass and went down.

I sort of felt a little guilty for influencing him, so I stopped and turned around. Fortunately, the guy and his bike were OK, that is, after he slid with it for about 40 feet before coming to a stop. When I reached the guy, he was just getting up. He asked me what happened.......I told him - he almost cried. Turns out he just got his bike the day before.

I hate to hear that a rider went down, but come on you know that it was funny after you knew he wasn't hurt.

I agree I hate to hear about someone going down. But I'm glad he was ok. Hopefully this will be a valuable lesson to him in the future.

P.S. I thought everyone alrady knew that a Suzuki can't stick with a green machine.

That is sad any few ways:

1) He crashed but at least he's okay.

2) A Gixxer rider let a ZX-7 beat him.

3) Sad that he is too dumb to know that only Hondas are capable of outside passes at that speed.

Seriously, be careful Spitfire and don't get tangle up with dumbasses like that. It was pretty cool that you watched out to see if he made it and helped when the dumbass didn't.

That is sad and pathetic. Yes its good he was not hurt but honestly, the moron was asking for it.
1) he was being an idiot
2) he was messin with 'The Green'

If i were you i would have checked and seen if he was ok, then laughed my a$$ off in his face. I am glad to hear that you didnt fall into his squidvicious trap.

(I have rode up on strangers on sportbikes on the highway before and if they dont wanna hang with me thats fine, i continue on my way. Speeding up and slowing down and speeding up and slowing down trying to entice someone is a tad stupid.)

Funny, I didn't think Honda's were capable of any type of passing.

LMAO!!! Good one.

Actually a very good point. The Hondas spend so damn much time out front that the jury is still out on whether or not they can pass.
