Hey, I noticed that your sig. says that you are from Scranton. I'm up there all the time. I just went on the Veterans' Benefit ride this Sunday that started at the Veterans' center on Mulberry & Penn Ave. and went for about 60 miles thru the Abbingtons, Clarks Summit, Falls, and back. Man, was my ass sore after that one! I really need a Corbin seat. I was one of 5 plastic bikes in a group of 700 bikes, mostly Harley's. They were pretty cool people, though.

Where do you ride? I am usually alone, but can be frequently be see with my friends on a '79 Kaw 450, a '98 V-star, and an '82 Virago. I ride a black '96 Kaw 600R. Favorite spot is the Dunkin' Donuts on 307 by the River Street exit on Sundays when they have the classic cars in the parking lot next door, where the old Sunshine Market was.

Maybe we'll catch up sometime.

John

Sorry to disappoint you Tony, but I haven't ridden with another sportbike since last fall, so it wasn't me at the Gateway. BTW, I'll be haveing the GSX-R back sometime next week. It's getting a clutch right now. Haven't ridden that thing in about 2 years and I miss riding that thing.

Tony, on another note, I'll be in need of employment as of September 1st. I am open to any suggestions. Significant other is no longer an issue for me as of 3 months ago, so I've been living the single life and wanting to get out. I'll be in Ocean City, MD and Las Vegas the last half of August, and after that it's time for a job change. I'll seriously be soliciting ideas. Gotta meet up sometime in the near future.

God - May have been me sometime in the parking lot. I sometimes take my car, too. I usually drink about 4 big cups of that great coffee a day, so it's not unusual to see me there. Sunday's probably going to be the only good day to ride, since we're supposed to have rain for the rest of the week.

I'll give you a holler sometime later in the week, since I've been nuts with things to do the rest of this week.

Tony,

sounds good, on all acounts. I'm going to be at the Woodlands for happy hour around 5:00 on Friday; made plans to meet a girl down there, and I don't want to stand her up being that this is the first time I'll be meeting her out. I'm not going to be there too long, so let me know when you want to catch up. Are you going to be in during the day? I ask because I have Friday off.

I'll be checking my e-mail regularly throughout the day to see if I hear from you.

GCO - Look forward to meeting up sometime....how's Friday looking for you? Some daytiem riding would be great, depending on what your schedule is like.

Later,

John
