I'm sure this is nothing new to most of you guys/gals, but I recently pulled my bungee net off my ATV and put it on my F4 to see how it'd work, and I love it! I'm suprised how much I can carry on that tiny seat using that net. Anyway, for short trips to the gym, work etc. it's perfect. Definetly a worthy invesment. Drew.

I have the same problem with mine. I have heard of some people putting tape on the body panels during long trips to protect the finish, But for around town? I don't want a tape mobile. Plus the plastic hooks break often, so go for the metal ones.

I had the same problem so I bought my wife a Suzuki SV650. Since that I have had no damage to the tailsection of the RC 51. I pack everything under the bungee and attach it to the passenger seat on the Suzuki.

She calls the bike Ole Number 7(pack mule from Grizzly Adams for you young squidly types).

I've used the "clear" moto-X number plate coating and if your careful, it will hardly show. Use only enough to let the bungie cord rest on so it won't mar the paint on the plastic. Too take it off, warm with hair dryer and it will come right off!

Rug Burn,
Are you a TSBA member? There is a chapter up in Austin if you are interested. They are also going to have track day this Sunday near Houston for only $40 per person, beats the $180 per person next weekend.

WHAT DID YOU CALL ME? Are you a member in S.A.? If so, tell me a little about it. I'm probably too slow to hang with some hard core GP racer wanna be's. The bike broke in faster than my balls did

He's not that damn smart. I did the same thing on my VFR without removing the hooks. Can still use for big stuff if needed. If you keep speaking such BS you are going to make his head swell. He will think he deserves more pudding and time in the social room at the Institution.

Seriously, I did that on my VFR also and it is an excellent idea.
