Hopin to get my first bike real soon,I really wanna buy a brand new bike but is it a good idea to do so, i was lookin at a 600 line of bike,too much power for a beginner?

You can start on a 600 with a little sense and self control, but I would really suggest starting on a used bike that you get at a good price because you most likely WILL drop it and slip clutches and grind gears, etc. My personal choices would be a F2, F3, EX500.

After you get comfy on a used bike, you can sell it and recover most of your money if its in decent shape. Then, You will be much happier to go buy your brand new shinny pretty bike knowing that you can treat it properly and have a much lower risk of dropping it.

ill just add that u can use the xtra money for the ever important riding gear & schools. then dont sell that bike when u buy your new one.. race it.
