actually the rear sets i give credit for most of the horses. that was the best 350$ i spent.

gco, if you dynoed at two jacks, they should have a stock 98 gsxr run in the computer to compare it to. magazine usually won't give the same #. 131 is a good number for 2 jack's dyno for a gsxr750. several more than my stock 00 750

I'd also recommend drilling holes in the fairing ala the 900RRs. I covered mine with tape once and lost a good 15 mph on the top.

does anyone know where i can get the past shootouts from 98'??? im also looking to see what the horseys my bike came with because i just put it on a dyno (131 hp) and i want to see what it came with, to see if these mods i made had any effect on it

Well I would have to say that the mods. worked.

The bike came with 115.3 hp @12,250 rpm.

You can find alot of info. on most bikes at http://207.150.82.148/SpecsPick.cfm

the mods i made if anyone is interested is Yoshi RS3 duplex ti full exhaust, PCII, barnet clutch, pro tek rear sets, goodrich steel brake lines (highly recommend, and a few other cosmetic changes

I don't see how taping the holes would have that effect. The holes are drilled to reduce sprung weight, and have nothing to do with aerodynamics. Was it really heavy tape?
