Question

Alright,
Guys i sold my 916 =(. Man i miss that think, but now i need your help. The wife has given me the ok to buy a new bike and i need to know what u guys think. It will be a daily driver with lots of runs through the twistes. I am heavily thinking about the 929 but the white and red is sold out =(. I would love to know what u guys think is the best bike out and why. I am thinking of either an rc51, 929, or an r1.
Thanks

Dude!!! Go with the 929 no doubt. For what you're gonna be doing, it'll be GREAT! I have limited experience on both the 929 and r1. Wish I had ANY amount of experience on an rc51. The 929 would be my choice. Much smoother, more refined machine than the r1. Power out the a$$ too! Good luck with your choice!

Cool

RC-51 all da way. Nothing beats the soul of a big V-Twin! A distant second would be the yellow 929.

The RC would be be tough if your daily ride is more than 30 miles. Otherwise it rocks and the V-twin definitely has soul.

The 929 should be a good daily rider and rocks in the twisties.

Stay away from the R1. I'm hearing too many stories of reliability problems. That sucks because they are beautiful and fast, although less comfortable that the RC 51(IMO). R1s are everywhere and have nothing on the 929s on the street. 929s and RC 51s you don't see much yet.

I would do something different altogther...Why not but a tl000r???Sick/KILLER bike, and not "in" at this point in time, and the dealer's can't even "give" em away....Buy one of those, and dump what you saved into aftermarket parts and you WILL rule!!!!I've ridden my friend'as and they FREAKEN RULE!!!OUTRAGEOUS HANDLING!!

929 all the way. After you make a couple adjustments, you'll be truly be loving the twisties. If your wife is ever going to ride on the back, she'll appreciate the 929 more so than the RC51. This coming from a friend of mine who has a 929.

I'm just the innocent bystander on a F4.

Come guys where are all the R1 boys at. I am leaning heavy towards the 929 but want to hear someone who has ridden both the r1 and 929.
