Anyone have an opinion on this bike? I'm looking at an 02 that has 900 miles on it, and an after-market slipon. I really like the look of the bike and I have an chance to ride it as well for a short test ride. I really like the reach to the bars and comfort of the seating. It is one of the green ones. They are asking 6900 clams for it, but I will have a little bargaining room according to the salesman. They orginally couldn't let me ride it, so I told them I couldn't consider it without a ride. They called me back and said I could take it for a ride but I would have to have an escort on a seperate bike. I already let them know as well that I was not going to buy the bike for sure, but riding it puts it from a NO to a maybe. If you have some thoughts on this bike model I'd be interested to hear them.

The lack of replies makes me think either no one has a clue about this Kawasaki -OR- no one likes it and is trying to polite.

Anyway, I had a chance to ride it and it's a wonderful bike. It has torque right of the line but it is not twitchy at all. Controlable power. Steering is very precise. Very sweet exhaust note. I think I will be trading in my FZ6.

Still, if anyone has a comment to make on the ZRX, I'd love to hear it.

The 12 are hell a nice. Like what has been said lots of power but it comes on nice and easy. The best part of it is that it plan old sit nice and you wouldn't mind taking it for the long haul.

ZRX 1200

I didn't reply because I thought you were looking for feedback from actual owners. But if it's just general comments....

I think the ZRX is a really cool bike. Retro styling with a big, muscular look to it, beefy/torquey engine, what's not to like?

The engine is a slightly detuned version of my bike, the ZX-11. The ZRX puts down about 113 rear wheel horsepower and 80 ft/lbs of torque. The bike can click off high 10's in the quarter mile. Roll on power is real strong- almost as quick as the ZX-12R. I imagine it could do some pretty kick-ass wheelies and burnouts too!

Good luck with the new ride!

Never heard anything bad about the bike, and they are powerfull beasts. Personally I cant stomach the looks, but as long as you like it, thats really all that counts
