The r7 has a 948 cc engine. Its not as fast as the r6, but alot faster than the R1. Just playin. Its 700 ccs(699 maybe) and is faster than the r6. I asked about these a while ago but got very litlle input, these bikes are expensive as hell(limited production race bikes) and are very rare. Mostly found on the track, or in some assh*les garage who doesnt know how to ride it from what ive gathered!!

...correct on the rarity and price. i remember watching something on television a while back and hearing some famous h'wood actor that had a dealer to locate one for him. he paid 30 grand for it. of course, i own one too, but mine was only a buck 97 (before tax) and was made by Maisto.

Yes, I really do have one. And no, I'm not messing w/you.

The R7 that I have has a partial race kit installed. I have a whole race kit, but if you install and enable the entire race kit, then the dash simply displays oil temp, which doesn't help much when you're riding around on the street. (Mine has a street legal title, plate, registration, etc.)

The bike is really fast as it sits. It is faster than a couple of my R6s - all 3 are 2003 models, one street/track, one supersport legal and one superbike. The R7 is about as quick as the R6 superbike, but the latter has had a lot of work done to the head.

The best part about the R7 though - other than the sound of the race pipe(!) - is the handling of the front end. I have several Ducatis, which I consider to have the some of the best front-ends in the business, but the R7's front end puts everything to shame. You can literally put the bike anywhere you want in a corner. Of course, it feels like you have the axle between your hands, which probably helps alot, but it's pretty incredible.
