Whoa Crap!!!!

F/A-18 Hornet vs. GSX-R1000
In the June 2004 edition of Motorcyclist Magazine....

"Final numbers put the GSX-R at 10.10 seconds at 142.50 mph, with the F/A-18 just a few feet behind at 10.45 seconds and 158.14 mph."

The article indicates the GSX-R1000 goes from 0 to 60 in 2.8 seconds while the F18 does it in about 3.7.

The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all of fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomanical, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully. - Richard Dawkins, The God Delusion

also should be glad they don't test the gsx-r against the fighter on a catapult

(even not worrying about the bike in the water)

Ever see an F-18 take off? Nothing about that aircraft is impressive until it gets above 150mph. Thats when the engines start to breathe. At that point it disappears.

how about a 170mph roll on?
