Chr|s Sedition finally gets his new bike :)

Yeah, so tommorow I'm going to finish up the paperwork at my local dealer. By mid-week I should *finally* have my new bike. a 2004 red R6. not only will this be my first sportbike but it will be ther 1st NEW vehicle i've ever owned. i got a loan for 4.9%! how good is that!?

But now I'm faced with a *really* hard descion that i wasn't anticipating: do i keep my my 1st / beginners bike or sell it? i've grown quite attched to it over time. *sigh*

vroom vroom!

I'm keeping my first beginners bike and restoring it and customizing it. I look at it as a good project for something to do. For me the decision was not hard for me to keep the bike. I simple told myself that I will keep every bike I own, and when I done riding them and get a new one, the old one gets rebuilt and put into storage for collection.

Chris- CONGRATULATIONS. I know how long you have been waiting for this. Good work on keeping patient, selling the Civic and following through. If it were up to me, I would keep the bike I learned on. Mine crapped out on me and I didn't have the foresight to keep it. It would be cool to have around for your kid to learn on or something like that. Post up some pics of the new R6, and keep us informed on how it feels.

If you don't need the money, i say keep the first bike. I'd guess a lot of people wish they had.

If you are reading this then this warning is for you. Every word you read of this useless fine print is another second off your life. Don't you have other things to do? Is your life so empty that you honestly can't think of a better way to spend these moments? Or are you so impressed with authority that you give respect and credence to all who claim it? Do you read everything you're supposed to read? Do you think everything you're supposed to think? Buy what you're told you should want? Get out of your apartment. Meet a member of the opposite sex. Stop the excessive shopping and masturbation. Quit your job. Start a fight. Prove you're alive. If you don't claim your humanity you will become a statistic. You have been warned...... Tyler
