Suzuki Katana 750

Locally I found a 2001 Suzuki Katana 750 for $3200. For me to insure it, it only costs me about 45 bucks a month. Does the price of the bike seem like a good deal. Never been down or dropped. Mint condition.

ANY thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks

Keith

You might want to PM ga_skyline_rydr about that one. He has a Katana 600, not to mention he lives in Ga also.

That doesn't sound like a bad deal at all. How many miles? Just curious, is it gonna be your first bike? I learned to ride on a '93 Katana 600. It was a good learning experience, imo. Nice bikes, lots of midrange power.

--Edit-- Just read your signature and saw that this will indeed be your first bike. My is that you consider getting a 600 over a 750. Even a Katana 750 is gonna have a lot of power, a little too much. If your ego can take it, maybe even a Kawasaki EX500, (500R) or a Suzuki GS500. Good learner's bikes. Let us know what happens.
