I don't think anyone is going to argue against the R6.

Is your life so empty that you honestly can't think of a better way to spend these moments? Or are you so impressed with authority that you give respect and credence to all who claim it? Do you read everything you're supposed to read? Do you think everything you're supposed to think? Buy what you're told you should want? Get out of your apartment. Meet a member of the opposite sex. Stop the excessive shopping and masturbation. Quit your job. Start a fight. Prove you're alive. If you don't claim your humanity you will become a statistic. You have been warned...... Tyler

You are referring to the best for an experienced rider THEN I will agree that the R6 is said bike while R1 would come in second.

Still that is only the thinking of those that ride sportbikes & know the difference between the different makes of sportbikes plus you have confined us down to just one maker.

In a Cruiser or a dirt iron then it would be another model or two.

Best 600 Yamaha

YZF600R - the liquid silver ones look best but they say the blue ones are faster (especially if they have the Deltabox decals).

Though it is NOT a true Deltabox made out of alloy, but stamped steel frame painted silver.

In my garage is an '87 Yamaha TZR-250 with true Deltabox frame & the f/forks are much stronger & larger then 750s of the same time PLUS far superior stopping power then 750s of the time, but what the heck this bike is a detuned TZ-250 road racer with different upper part of the power plant, still flat Mikuni carbs, steel petrol tank, lights, signal lights & so made street legal. Only I dumped the street legal exhaust system for a set of road racing expansion chambers.
