Article in Maxim: Bike Street Racing

Anyone out there Maxim lovers? I just the newest issue in the mail, and aside from it being the Swimsuit issue I found an article in there about street racing in there on bikes. Kinda like a Biker Boyz style article, but I wasn't too impressed with it. Now am I being hypocritical, since I like to ride fast on the street too, that an article like this could give us bad reps? Lemme know what you all think on this.

Haven't read it yet, but for non-subscribers....

Edit:
The link only shows part of the article, not the whole thing.

I get Maxim, but am two months behind in reading. So, ask me again in March

We don't get good media. Its like a PAC giving only neutral, factual advice to legislators; it just doesn't happen.

Well, like I said, it's only part of the article. It's pretty plain to see where it heads though, so reading the rest of it is probably not needed.

It's Friday man, I've been having dumb-ass attacks all day.....and I'm okay with that.

WARNING
If you are reading this then this warning is for you. Every word you read of this useless fine print is another second off your life. Don't you have other things to do? Is your life so empty that you honestly can't think of a better way to spend these moments? Or are you so impressed with authority that you give respect and credence to all who claim it? Do you read everything you're supposed to read? Do you think everything you're supposed to think? Buy what you're told you should want? Get out of your apartment. Meet a member of the opposite sex. Stop the excessive shopping and masturbation. Quit your job. Start a fight. Prove you're alive. If you don't claim your humanity you will become a statistic. You have been warned...... Tyler

I heard about the article on another board and bought the magazine at the newstand. As expected, the article was dumb since the magazine caters to the average male, not a motorcyclist. It's a good thing it's also the swimsuit issue to make my $5 worth it.

Also, I don't think the article will make the motorcyclist's image any worse seeing the magazine is Maxim, not Time or Newsweek.

I am with Tippmann & others that look upon this pile of crap as being BAD for us that ride m/cs & especially sportbikes.

Anyone that thinks this is great stuff then they need their heads examined with a dull axe.
