Another dang crash report

But at least it was not me. A long story but a friend just came back from over seas with no money and no car so I loaned (I know) him my CX500. Now he has owned several bikes in the past and I have ridden with him so I was not toooooo uncomffy about him riding it. Well he went wide in a turn last night, thankfully he is ok, the bike is fixable, but has been better. The bright side, even though he was in the helmetless crowd before, it's cold so he was wearing a full face helmet, and he hit the hell out of his head, he is now VERY much a convert to the gear riding world. He now sees how important it is. Oh yeah, he crashed about 300 yrds from my house where he is staying right now. I was too pissed to get the whole story last night but I suspect he was coming in hot, wigged out and grabbed the brakes standing the bike up.

James.

If he became a helmet convert, it's all good. Write it off to an act of kindness for your fellow man.

Try not to be too pissed, at least he's ok, imagine if it was worse! Bikes can (almost) always be fixed. Glad he's seen the light with regards to gear. Tell him to get well soon.
