Still Recovering

I'm still recoving from my fall. 2 weeks of a swelled up foot and some damages to my bike is not worth forgetting what I am doing for even a second (when on a bike). Always be aware of your surroundings, the lamest little thing could ruin your next 3 weeks, or your life.

elvis, i hope to see you feeling better soon.

it sucks that you had to learn such a valuable lesson in such a harsh way. just hang in there get healthy. the bike is easier to fix than you are.

I'm sure this is why MSF instructors say not to ride when:
1) drinking
2) tired, mentally or physically
3) emotionally distracted
4) in a bikini zone

Elvis now speaks with some authority & experience. Something I do not think he considered that strongly from us with 3 to 50 yrs of riding experience-----it takes just a simple prang to wake one up to what can happen & a serious prang to where one will even consider if he can ride again.

Like others Elvis I hope you will heal up well & you are young enough to where healing is natural & fast. When one is over the hump it takes so much longer & when one is 65 & up well believe me it is touch & go when it comes to healing let alone what is toren up & broken.
