More GPS?'s, units

I would like to spend about 300 dollars on a unit. I want to be able tomove the unit back and fourth between my bike and truck, when I get my bike. any suggestions?

I love my Garmin GPSIII, but wish I had the GPSV. I find this layout to be the best for a bike, and works well in a cage as well. When I still drove a cage I used mine in the cage as well.

Here's a link to another forum that has discussed this very subject to length, hopefully it will help.

Thanks. I read that hole post. Lots of good info, and refernce to other sites. I think I may got with a smaller Handheld unit with color screen for the bike. I'm just going ot make sure that It will interface with a laptop. So when I have it in my truck I can connect it to my laptop.

I think I may get eiter a ETrax Vista or an iQue 3600

i am happy with my Garmin Etrex Legend. it is a hand held unit (for about $220) and you can buy maps for it. It comes with the basic highway maps of the US already downloaded into it.
