synthetic oil problems?

I normally only use regular dino oil, but last oil change I decided to treat my bike to Motul synthetic blend. Afterwards, I noticed that it seems to have trouble finding neutral from 1st when the engine isn't running, and that the shifting overall seems "clunkier". Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed this?

Sorry, I have noticed the opposite affect. My bike has somewhat of a reputation for clunky tranmission and clutch and when I switched to the full synthetic Motul everything was better. The only time I have used non synthetic is after I had the big bore kit installed and I switched back to the synthetic after 1000 miles. I have 9000 additional miles with the big bore, Muzzy clutch and synthetic and I have had no issues.
Have you checked your shift linkage? It can loosen up.
