Is it normal to get poping from an aftermarket exhaust system when you shift inbetween gears? This happens with my Micron Ti system when I shift at a normal shifting speed...but when I'm really rippin' the throttle it doesn't seem to happen. Any tips?

If you didn't get your bike re-jetted after putting your new exhaust on, then yes it's normal. I wouldn't run it for very long like that however.

Hmmmmmm. It really shouldn't be backfiring when you shift then. I dunno what to say other than maybe you need to take it back and have them look at the bike again...

your bike is running rich - bring it back. A reputable shop will fix it no charge.
