Bikes and Music

hey guys,
I'm just wondering if it is legal to listen to music while riding, are you allowed to have earphones under your skull cap. I know they have cb radios, how do thos work out, is there a speaker you mount somewhere? I'm getting a bike this month and I have an mp3 player so I'm just wondering

I know earplugs are illegal in some states and chatterboxes aren't. (Go figure) I ride with a little radio Walkman all the time and what a difference it makes. Hell of allot better than singing to yourself. My advice would be don't pull up next to a cop at a red light. That is about the only way you will get caught. Unless you get pulled over
