I've got this really cool new space-age metal- it polishes to a high gloss, crashes well, and is cheap to boot! It's called ALUMINUM.
CF looks good, but IMO is about the dumbest thing you could find to make an exhaust can from short of wood. SS is heavy, Ti is nice (esp. in the polished "rainbow" finish), but expensive.

Using a special FACTORY can.

It is made of "aluminium" & this has a 'stealth' like sound. Rather unique considering all the noisy slip-ons that are no more then a difference in sound & not torque or power. Oh yes this came stock with my bike --------- in fact I am using a similiar 'stock' can on my Yamaha YZF600r ---love them both!!!!!!!!

carbon fiber does'nt get very hot and when the packing burns out ..not as loud.Micron is coming out with a mahogany , cedar and redwood cannister. redwood available in Cal.only !

The can on my bike is actually made out of a rare and rigid leather that comes from the pockets of a pocket fox that only existed for a week in the 16th century .

I heard that some old guy is breeding pocket foxes somwhere up north but I'm not sure if I believe it.
