Now, I understand the relationship between tire temperature and traction, but what I'm wondering is, how significantly does road temperature play in?
Its 55 outside right now, 30 degrees for the low tonight. I can definately notice the difference when my tires are cold now over when they were "cold" a few months ago. Now, say I go out, and warm up my tires as hard as I can, then go hit my favorite twisties, am I going to have the same traction I had before? I'm expecting there to be less, but how much less? Racers, Tire experts??? Lets hear it.
