Can't decide on jacket

I am looking at the Alpinestars T-Stunt textile jacket seen here: http://www.newenough.com/protective_...le_jacket.html

and the Tour Master Coaster II Leather jacket seen here: http://www.newenough.com/protective_...le_jacket.html

The price is basically the same which makes me think that either the leather jacket is a piece of garbage or that the textile jacket is of great quality. I am living in NJ and the climate is pretty moderate. It can get up to 100 degrees in the summer but not for long. What would be the better buy here? Thanks.

Leather is best against crashes

Textile is best against weather

I've dealt with both... go with leather.

I would certainly go with the leather! With that said, I'd look at an Alpinestars leather jacket. It will probably bit a little better, and it's made for sport riding. Alpinestars requires us to advertise at retail, but we'll make a deal if you call or email.

I'm going to be honest with you bro but they both don't look that great. But if you had to go with one I would choose the leather one, you feel a lot better riding in it.

I would go with leather for sure. Do any of you guys wear protective vests or shirts?? I have been looking around to get some and found a few that I like. Anyone recommend either of these... The Demon Flexforce Pro High Body Armor or the SixSixOne Rogue Vest Let me know if you recommend some sort of protective gear.
